Porn Pubs on the Quad
I was reading this Sunday's New York Times specifically, the (ahem) Education section, and there was an article about how many colleges (Ivy League ones, too) now have their own school-endorsed cheesecake (read: porn) magazines...I am becoming such the prude with age, but man, this is a bit hard to digest.

Well, the girls are in on it, too. The only school in the piece that wasn't endorsing the pubs, I believe was Boston U. (for Boink.) Even Ian was like, that's insane.

I'm glad that people are getting such good educations in this country, and for such a bargain, with porn included. Wow. Really is great to be American.
I think I'd have a stroke if Will or Alex was reading that in college. Yes, I am well aware of the fact that they'll probably become aware of the wonderful world of porn long before that (his father and his uncles being who they are, hee hee) but in my happy rose-colored world, they would never indulge in such lurid pasttimes.
And the fact that it's available at school is so nasty. Eeew.
Unbelieveable. It's especially worrisome that some young women seem to be buying into the "feminist porn empowerment" load of crap. I saw Pink on Oprah a week or so ago (she was talking about her "Stupid Girls" song) and she says, "Now it's cool to have a sex tape? Are you kidding me??!!"
Who saw the Glamour artice about the people who photograph drunk co-eds and post the pictures online? That was even more scary...
I did see that too, that stuff makes me nauseous.
I SAW THAT ARTICLE TOO! It was horrible, completely horrible.
