Living in NY Is highway robbery

I had to go to work in the city this morning at an ungodly hour and bought some toast in a coffeeshop to go-$1.20 for 2 pieces of bread! Jeez. That's insane.

I'm so ready to move out of the city. I read in Allure today that the French government flips the bill for older women (didn't specify age, but still) to go to a spa once a year...now doesn't that sound more like it to you?

Yeah, this city is a drain of money I seem to keep dropping change into...

Here, here. $1.20 for toast - WTF is that?

Let's not even get into the housing prices. Yes, I was on realtor.com again this morning...

Sadly, you have to go far, far away from the city before it gets much better. We're over an hour away and it is still insane.

I read that thing in Allure too. It sounded fabulous.

I still keep the small hope of the Catskills alive... even though there's a lot of hill people living there...
